Paper Wrapping Machine

Machines

Ohio Paper Tube's plant is equipped with the proper machines to complete any order. The giant wrapping machine is larger than most machines owned by similar companies. This machine llows for faster manufacturing of larger tubes and cores.

Process

Spiral-wound tubes are produced by wrapping several strips of adhesive coated materials such as paper alone or in combination with another material such as lamination, at an angle, over a mandrel that forms the tube. The adhesives used are designed to be compatible with the materials used to make the tube and with chemicals and resins found in the end-use application.

Specialty Finishing

Special cutting and coating of the tubes and cores allows the process to be customized for each client. This gives the client the exact finish and length required for the use.

Durability

The combination of the adhesive and the spiral wound strengthens the paper. The coils can be designed to hold anything from paper to a person.
